Are you a Veteran traveling to a VA-authorized facility?

If you live in the highly rural Nebraska counties of Banner, Kimball, Deuel, Morrill, Garden or Arthur there is a good chance your ride may be FREE.
KCTS participates in the Highly Rural Transportation Grant (HRTG), which is a grant-based program that helps Veterans with rides.

Please call KCTS at 308-235-0262 as soon as you book your VA appointment.

If it’s your first time taking advantage of the program, we usually need a 3 days to verify your veteran status.

If you know a veteran in any of the counties on the map let them know about the program. They can call their local public transit or call us and we can direct them to the appropriate contact.
