Veterans Ride Services
Are you a Veteran traveling to the VA or any VA-authorized healthcare facilities? If you live in the highly rural Nebraska counties of Banner, Kimball, Deuel, Garden or Morrill, your ride may be FREE.
KCTS participates in the Highly Rural Transportation Grant (HRTG), which is a grant-based program that helps Veterans with rides.
Please call KCTS at 308-235-0262to make your ride reservation at least two days in advance.
Call us as soon as you book your VA appointment. The sooner you make your reservation the better.
Veterans with residential addresses in any of the additional covered counties on the map can call Open Plains at 833-678-8387 (833-OPT-VETS) to schedule a ride.
