The Kimball County Commissioners have formed Kimball Transit Advisory Board (KTAB) for the Kimball County Transit Service (KCTS). The purpose of KTAB shall be to advise, provide input, and recommend action to the Kimball County Board of Commissioners on matters relating to the operation of the KCTS which, in the opinion of KTAB, would be beneficial for KCTS. KTAB shall provide advice, which includes but is not limited to, coordinated planning and effectiveness of the transit system, long term success and sustainability of the transit service within its current service area, and strategic direction.
KTAB shall be composed of seven (7) board members appointed and approved by the Kimball County Board of Commissioners. Each board member shall have an interest in public transportation, creating and communicating the agency’s strategic direction, studying and evaluating public transportation’s current issues and overall community and regional needs.
KTAB board members are residents of their respective KCTS service area and the seven board members shall be appointed to fill each of the following seven categories of board member:
The Kimball County Board of Commissioners may consider any nominations to KTAB or elect to solicit nominations to KTAB by a City Council or County Board of Commissioners within each respective geographic service area.

KCTS Advisory Board Meetings will be held the 4th Monday of each month at 8 AM. The location will be the KCTS Main Building: 233 S Chestnut Street, Kimball.
